Star Dance Company – Terms & Conditions for Parents/Carers

  1. Places must be booked in advance through ClassForKids and are subject to availability.
  2. Fees must be paid by the stated deadline to secure your child’s place in class.
  3. Star Dance Company is an inclusive dance school and class placements are based on a child’s confidence, readiness, independence and overall suitability, rather than age alone.
  4. Parents/carers must ensure all registration, medical and emergency contact information is accurate and kept up to date.
  5. Children remain the responsibility of their parent/carer before and after class. Please ensure children are collected promptly at the end of their session.
  6. Suitable dancewear and footwear should be worn for all classes. Jewellery should be removed where possible for safety reasons.
  7. If your child has an injury, medical condition, additional need, or anything we should be aware of to support them safely, please inform us before class.
  8. Star Dance Company reserves the right to make changes to timetables, venues, teachers or class structures where necessary.
  9. Photos and videos may occasionally be taken for promotional purposes. Media preferences can be selected during registration and will always be respected.
  10. We are committed to providing a positive, inclusive and respectful environment. Disruptive, unsafe or inappropriate behaviour from children or adults may result in participation being reviewed.
  11. Refunds are not available for missed classes unless exceptional circumstances apply and are agreed at the discretion of Star Dance Company.
  12. By registering, parents/carers agree to follow Star Dance Company policies and procedures, including safeguarding, health and safety, and data protection policies.  

13. Respectful Conduct

Star Dance Company is committed to providing a positive and supportive environment for all children, families, staff and volunteers. Parents/carers are expected to treat staff, assistants and volunteers with courtesy and respect at all times. Abusive, aggressive, threatening or inappropriate behaviour, whether in person, by phone, email, social media or messaging platforms, will not be tolerated and may result in the immediate termination of a child’s place within the company.
